Fresco Baltanas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cam Bahč sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on IFK Gladdarna's corner Snorre Snabb fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fresco Baltanas quite easily take care of the ball. In the 8th match minute, UE Cornella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Martin Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Toni Medina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UE Cornella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Gladdarna the free kick. A collision led to UE Cornella getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Toni Medina hit a great ball. In the last second Fresco Baltanas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Freddie Stenberg in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cam Bahčs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Fresco Baltanas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cam Bahč who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Fresco Baltanas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Toni Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fresco Baltanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Stenberg in the 29th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Fresco Baltanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Martin Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Gladdarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fresco Baltanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 36th minute of play. Martin Sundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Fresco Baltanas made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goalkeeper Fresco Baltanas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Sundin. When Alvito Font fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UE Cornella's protests and gave Alvito Font a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvito Font didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cam Bahč had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvito Font to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cam Bahč came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the IFK Gladdarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cam Bahč couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Stenberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gitano Iniesta got free with Kurt Ekberg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's Gitano Iniesta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Ekberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joey Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Cam Bahč sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UE Cornella's Fresco Baltanas didn't even have to move. Fresco Baltanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Stenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Ekberg made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Alvito Font sent off a good shot on target. Cam Bahč recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fresco Baltanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cam Bahč, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fresco Baltanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cam Bahč in the 95th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Fresco Baltanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
