In the 16th minute Korhan Türkol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Cole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatán Cabello in the 17th minute of play. Dave Cole was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richie Tate. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltazar Castelblanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s German Lia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
