In the 4th minute Rodney Huston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yerko Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Natalio Illanes Ansaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip McNamara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Rodney Huston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wyoming Cowboys's Philip McNamara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Cebo in the 12th minute of play. Yerko Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Magdaleno Maira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SICARIOS Fútbol Club and the Wyoming Cowboys players grew even worse after the yellow card. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Yerko Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Lilly in the 24th minute of play. Yerko Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Lilly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Verner Myr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yerko Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SICARIOS Fútbol Club's zone, Lanny Lilly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yerko Courtois came out of the goal and Lanny Lilly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Verner Myr notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Yerko Courtois. Yerko Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yerko Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Eklund in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Wyoming Cowboys booed when SICARIOS Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igal Pascual didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes, Wyoming Cowboys's Harry Sjö shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yerko Courtois came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wyoming Cowboys reached it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dikdik Dik to make the kick off. Yerko Lentakos's late challenge caught a Wyoming Cowboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yerko Lentakos helped the player get up and apologised. Wyoming Cowboys's Teodosije Gavrić was substituted for Lanny Lilly. After taking down the ball on Wyoming Cowboys's corner Verner Myr fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yerko Courtois quite easily take care of the ball. Nicolas Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip McNamara having to interfere. Wyoming Cowboys's Bennvar Ben was substituted for Ivar Eklund. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Armin Arlet was substituted for Dikdik Dik. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Verner Myr took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Yerko Courtois to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Armin Arlet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip McNamara was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Armin Arlet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match Wyoming Cowboys got a corner. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Sjö ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wyoming Cowboys's Harry Sjö was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yerko Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 91 minutes into the match, Armin Arlet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip McNamara. Wyoming Cowboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armin Arlet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Wyoming Cowboys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
