Adolfo Willding's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Fuica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Xilo Cortada hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s zone, Adolfo Willding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Fuica came out of the goal and Adolfo Willding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Obscurials's Nelson Kurth got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Jo-Wilfried Joestar came free, but Albert Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Llorian Candelaria. 21 minutes into the game, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Juan José López nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adolfo Willding struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Edgardo Fuica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Obscurials. The Obscurials's Albert Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llorian Candelaria in the 35th minute of play. Adolfo Willding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Llorian Candelaria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Llorian Candelaria made a kick off. Edgardo Fuica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Willding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Jo-Wilfried Joestar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Fletcher Mcmillan. In the 56th minute, Adolfo Willding made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Fuica. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Ciro Aguilera replaced Llorian Candelaria. Albert Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Willding, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jo-Wilfried Joestar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Jo-Wilfried Joestar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 64th minute. After 69 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Januário Gouveia. In the 72nd minute, Xilo Cortada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albert Day. The goal made the score 1-6. 82 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Lance Morey came free, but Edgardo Fuica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Day was a little too slow when Xilo Cortada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-7. The audience was convinced that Ciro Aguilera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Day was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
