In the 10th minute Xilo Cortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Fuica made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ulf Öfverman sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Fuica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thiago van Dijk who took care of the corner kick. Mats Elg took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Fuica. Edgardo Fuica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alexandre Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xilo Cortada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edgardo Fuica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulf Öfverman. Xilo Cortada struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alexandre Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. 46 minutes into the game, one of Brothers of Mercy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Llorian Candelaria made the kick off in the second half. Thiago van Dijk charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago van Dijk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Thiago van Dijk. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joel-Benjamin Joestar replaced Juan José López. Brothers of Mercy's attentive Kieran Robertson managed to snatch the ball when Xavion Zeppeli made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. A beautiful save bye ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Vilaprenyo came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Ulf Öfverman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edgardo Fuica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ulf Öfverman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Fuica was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erramu Chute in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Fuica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires got control of the ball when Xilo Cortada tried to sneak it across the goal line. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edgardo Fuica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erramu Chute in the 93rd minute of play. If Erramu Chute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
