After 4 minutes of play, TeamSystem's Ergün Gemici made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Grep was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Benicio Pardemanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeynel Cebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Feliu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lirarnas Lag from getting a goal against them. Rune Grep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göktürk Veli in the 14th minute. Luo Gang Zhan's late challenge caught a TeamSystem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luo Gang Zhan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Luo Gang Zhan got a free kick in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Göktürk Veli lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Rune Grep. Göktürk Veli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rune Grep made a huge save. When Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd match minute, TeamSystem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alesandro Nesta to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Arenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magnus Arenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Arenberg. Zeynel Cebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Kråk in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göktürk Veli to make the kick off. Örjan Håning hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alesandro Nesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Luo Gang Zhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Hjalmar Kråk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeynel Cebel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hjalmar Kråk in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansel Tanay in the 80th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergün Gemici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rune Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Örjan Håning kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
