In the 28th minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paunero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Esportivo Saudade the free kick. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Conrado Gartxot hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Servando Lozano's late challenge caught a Paunero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Servando Lozano helped the player get up and apologised. Servando Lozano hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Blas Arlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ritchie Roig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pastor Quirce hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rafael Jaraba might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Jaraba ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Modesto Theodore threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Jaraba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paunero's Modesto Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Paunero from getting a goal against them. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Arlo in the 86th minute of play. Armando Reina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Theodore having to interfere. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Quexal in the 92nd minute of play. Ritchie Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Clube Esportivo Saudade supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube Esportivo Saudade would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
