After 14 minutes, Gaudencio Isidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurboc and the Deportivo Pergamino players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Pergamino booed when Hurboc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Fulgencio Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Eneas took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Peruxu. Anier Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 played minutes Hurboc got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Rik. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Leonel Abaunza hit a great ball. Anier Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Kiliz in the 25th minute of play. Teo Havier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Pergamino:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mauro Iago shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 33rd minute, Hurboc's Cosme Thomas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anier Mero. Anier Mero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a little luck, Deportivo Pergamino's Anier Mero got control of the ball when Bernardo Rik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Rik got free with Anier Mero in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Wick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cosme Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Mero was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Pergamino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Iago was slow to take the kick. During this time Hurboc's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mauro Iago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Pergamino's Anier Mero did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Kiliz made a kick off. Bernardo Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Wick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Mero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Wick went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 67thth minute of the game Bernardo Rik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pergamino's Anier Mero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pergamino defense, Bernardo Rik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Mero. The Deportivo Pergamino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Mero should have stopped the shot. Hurboc made a substitution. Ignacio Fliz replaced Tiburcio Hitzeder. In the 90th minute John Wick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Pergamino booed when Hurboc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hurboc could leave the field as winners, despite Deportivo Pergamino having more of the ball for most of the match.
