Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Leocadio kicked off to start the match. Nicolas Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fabio Betadur made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Paunero's Fabio Betadur threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Tancredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Modesto Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Modesto Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Tancredo came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Emilio Ruy sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Alonzo Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paunero's protests and gave Alonzo Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Alonzo Gervaso got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nicolas Cheche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Modesto Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Ruy in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. Alonzo Gervaso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Betadur came out and tried to block the shot, but Alonzo Gervaso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Semeno in the 34th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Nicolas Tancredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Betadur, 2-1. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Higinio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Quintan's late challenge caught a Paunero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. Andres Quintan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Tancredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Tancredo came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gervaso in the 53rd minute of play. Modesto Theodore made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Humberto Leocadio sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, LA DEL MONO's Higinio Botello ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Theodore. Modesto Theodore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After 63 minutes, Alonzo Gervaso made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, one of Paunero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paunero. Modesto Theodore had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Edelmiro Paskal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. LA DEL MONO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Paskal in the 84th minute. Higinio Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Modesto Theodore made a huge save. After 91 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Rudolfo. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gervaso in the 94th minute of play. LA DEL MONO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
