Hannes Saenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Favila in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Anderhub during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorio Oso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Frasco to make the kick off. Mischa Guibord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Honorio Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Sarracino came free, but Hannes Saenger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Wil 1900's Honorio Oso threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Popcorn Knoblauch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Honorio Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Anderhub, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Parolini to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Eugenio Feliu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hannes Saenger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Cayetano Venceslas notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger. Hannes Saenger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hannes Saenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Wil 1900 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
