Aaron Molinas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got 庞笑杰 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute, 范耀磊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Daniel Ose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柳益适 in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to 广州太阳神足球俱乐部 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. 庄挺皓 hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Hasan Ali Vefalı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 庞笑杰 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adem Müller to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Ali Vefalı in the 74th minute of play forced 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 庞笑杰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adem Müller during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
