København's Anter Barroso threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Polkoski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Petriceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Victorino Abajas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 28th minute of the match Sergiu Liciu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre Nordenkrone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Aşır Ekici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anter Barroso. Aşır Ekici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Pierre Nordenkrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Anter Barroso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Aşır Ekici sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes Academia Rio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zakarias Bessermann who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Niklaes Maratse heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 55th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Pierre Nordenkrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Şimonca came free, but Pierre Nordenkrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Liciu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Academia Rio made a substitution. Ivan Oltean replaced Avram Pârvan. F.C. København's Pedro Luiz Dantas was substituted for Zakarias Bessermann. After 67 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Liciu. Hieronim Bykowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicholas Hulvej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Nordenkrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca in the 74th minute of play. Pierre Nordenkrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Şimonca's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Hakkı Devrim İltan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Dichiseanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Nordenkrone was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. F.C. København's Pierre Nordenkrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Şimonca in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goalkeeper Pierre Nordenkrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Oltean.
