An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Yarlık in the 21st minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jools Holland got free with Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Luo Feng Feng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heavenly Hooters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOI the free kick. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Önder İlsak in the 25th minute of the match. Mustafa Barış Yarlık hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match, Jools Holland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. LOI's Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jools Holland in the 28th minute of play. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Yarlık in the 30th minute of play. Balaban Tuğlu's late challenge caught a Heavenly Hooters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balaban Tuğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Yarlık in the 35th minute of play. Lennie Rusby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfat Helvacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jools Holland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin made a huge save. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mustafa Barış Yarlık hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Ross Clark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luo Feng Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 60 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Bülent Türemen. After 61 played minutes, Heavenly Hooters's Marty King shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heavenly Hooters reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfat Helvacı got free with Lennie Rusby in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes Heavenly Hooters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hikmet Şafakgün who took care of the corner kick. When Rıfat Helvacı came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıfat Helvacı couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Numan Tüzel. Heavenly Hooters's Gafur Peşrev was substituted for Pedro Luiz de Moraes. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Kevin Byrne replaced Ross Clark. After a rather tough play, LOI's Numan Tüzel got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gafur Peşrev scored 1-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Fatih Erbelgin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heavenly Hooters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
