Sören Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Iriza in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MasterBets's Iordache Iriza got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pintilie came free, but Sören Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Dracena was the one to do the kick off. Petruț Muscă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 51st minute of play. If Cristian Pintilie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Club 23's Sören Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club 23 from getting a goal against them. Club 23's Nae Lalescu suffered a sore knee after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Iordache Iriza's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Iriza helped the player get up and apologised. Club 23 made a substitution. Mirel Rădoi replaced Nae Lalescu. After 55 played minutes MasterBets got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Iriza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 57th minute of play forced MasterBets's goalkeeper Petruț Muscă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Cristian Pintilie notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Club 23's Sören Malmberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Dracena in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Muscă saved MasterBets from getting behind. With an all-out effort, MasterBets's Sören Malmberg threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iordache Iriza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club 23 had won after a very even match.
