An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Reitsma in the 11th minute of play forced los nadies's goalkeeper Camilo Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored los nadies's protests and gave Cenan Ergüven a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Cenan Ergüven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in los nadies's zone, Dirk Reitsma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Isauro came out of the goal and Dirk Reitsma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Isauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dirk Reitsma went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Siro Olivar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Valadares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Arnas went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dirk Reitsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Reitsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

56 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's Dirk Reitsma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Isauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Jacco Roorda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ágætis Byrjun and the los nadies players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Jacco Roorda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Jude Bellinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. los nadies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágætis Byrjun the free kick. Jude Bellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Jacco Roorda. Jude Bellinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Pedro Valadares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Paul van Mol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Martxel came free, but Zé Pedro Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Isauro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Paul van Mol sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Ton Kort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Camilo Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
