Yağızalp Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hamit Saye in the 45th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Necdet Yunus was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Olcay Tekdoğan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CİCERO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.BARLAD the free kick. After a rather tough play, CİCERO's Olcay Tekdoğan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dumitru Surdu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yağızalp Günden. CİCERO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match F.C.BARLAD got a corner. CİCERO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Surdu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hadi Bée hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Verzea got free with Yağızalp Günden in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CİCERO made a substitution. Aybar Pozan replaced Arcan Sargınal. CİCERO's Taner Tuğkan was substituted for Ahmet Necdet Yunus. After 86 minutes F.C.BARLAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serter Haymanalı who took care of the corner kick. Ştefan Bara thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Wojtek Szczęsny, a very annoying self made goal in the 86th minute which led to 2-1. F.C.BARLAD's Paul Irod was substituted for Valentin Verzea. Yağızalp Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Aalexoaiei, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
