Here Comes the Hammer's Charles Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Gelmiro in the 15th minute of play. If Olcay Tezkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olcay Tezkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Björkqvist having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Velloso got free with Michel van der Bij in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Eriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel van der Bij read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olcay Tezkan in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Björkqvist saved Here Comes the Hammer from getting behind. Michel van der Bij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Maranhense in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Eriksson to make the kick off. When Mitch Batshuayi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ISPARTASPOR U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitch Batshuayi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 93rd minute of play forced ISPARTASPOR U21's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel van der Bij didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos Félix went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Here Comes the Hammer fans cheered their team off the field, for while ISPARTASPOR U21 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
