Bruno Giordani started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Sandu Brădescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Giordani in the 11th minute of play. Eric Pârlea kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mauro Otsoa took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojtek Szczęsny. Wojtek Szczęsny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wojtek Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Giordani in the 22nd minute of the match. Klas Åström's late challenge caught a F.C.BARLAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vänge IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Irod ran over to the corner to take the kick. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Giordani in the 44th minute of play. Vänge IF's Markus Albäck was substituted for Mauro Otsoa. The F.C.BARLAD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vänge IF were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Irod was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Ramiro James got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wojtek Szczęsny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 55th minute of play. Valentin Verzea hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Irod in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Albäck in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojtek Szczęsny saved F.C.BARLAD from getting behind. The Vänge IF fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Vänge IF's Markus Albäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Vänge IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.C.BARLAD.
