Zé Pedro Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toti Iglesias's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toti Iglesias got free with Zé Pedro Valadares in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Servando Ariste sped through Ágætis Byrjun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Pedro Valadares. After 12 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Dirk Reitsma made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bibiano Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! CON-E-CO's attentive Antônio Carlos Hoffmann managed to snatch the ball when Jacco Roorda made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toti Iglesias. In the 20th minute of the match, Toti Iglesias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zé Pedro Valadares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th minute of the match Ágætis Byrjun got a corner. CON-E-CO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucien de Ridder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zé Pedro Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute, Toti Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Zé Pedro Valadares. Ágætis Byrjun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Zé Pedro Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toti Iglesias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Toti Iglesias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ágætis Byrjun's Zé Pedro Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Jacco Roorda got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, CON-E-CO's Toti Iglesias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Pedro Valadares. Zé Pedro Valadares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Servando Ariste made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Servando Ariste came free, but Zé Pedro Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap Reitsma hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes CON-E-CO got a freekick which was hit by Eric Bergström. Bibiano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Reitsma in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, CON-E-CO's Eric Bergström made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Patrick van der Valk replaced Mathias Huiting. Ágætis Byrjun's Katarínus Reitsma was substituted for Ton Kort. Jacco Roorda got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Janne Reitsma. 84 minutes into the match, Patrick van der Valk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bibiano Barbosa, 6-2. Zé Pedro Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toti Iglesias in the 88th minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
