The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jozef Ilve charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jozef Ilve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute of the match Janusz Solecki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Fidele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stanislaw Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Serginho Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaw Iwanowski. KP Opel Kamień's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Mexhit Koçi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Serginho Sabóia scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislaw Iwanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when KP Opel Kamień was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandro Riells didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislaw Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. KP Opel Kamień's Alkis Alkus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jozef Ilve, made in the 34th minute of the game. Julian Ross struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Filiberto Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KP Opel Kamień. Julian Ross in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiberto Fidele, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, KP Opel Kamień's Julian Ross ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filiberto Fidele. Filiberto Fidele yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Jovens Democratas MZC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Ross made a kick off. Julian Ross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KP Opel Kamień's Stanislaw Iwanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Sabóia in the 53rd minute of play. Jovens Democratas MZC's Filiberto Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandro Riells in the 55th minute of play. Jozef Ilve made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lúcio Cruz immediately put the ball in play. Julian Ross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Marco van Basten in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanislaw Iwanowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo de Godoi in the 67th minute of play forced KP Opel Kamień's goalkeeper Stanislaw Iwanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KP Opel Kamień's Konstanty Kajder suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 77 minutes into the game, Eliseu Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Opel Kamień the free kick. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Fidele should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vinícius Galvan hit a great ball.
