In the 14th minute Xiao Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xiao Yuan went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eleuterio Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Marco Oliviero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Ubarna came out of the goal and Marco Oliviero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 28th minute of play. Martin Eguntsenti scored 3-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Ubarna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Andres Librado. 35 minutes into the match, Xiao Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate. Social y Dep. Patagonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xiao Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Eusebio Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Gorosti couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Joel Cibran. In the 46th minute, Celso Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xiao Yuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Xiao Yuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cable a Tierra and the Social y Dep. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. 54 minutes into the game, Martin Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Social y Dep. Patagonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. Martin Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ismael Ubarna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grygoriy Lozynskyi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute.
