After some careless play in the Cable a Tierra defense, Giuseppe Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Ubarna. The Cable a Tierra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Ubarna should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute Eliseu Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Simão in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, André Luiz Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. Ismael Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Cruz came free, but Ismael Ubarna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jovens Democratas MZC's Giuseppe Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Eliseu Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jovens Democratas MZC fully deserved thier win.
