Spectators: 8480 (Terracing: 6361, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) After 5 minutes, Evan Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenbay and the Memphis Grizzlies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Evan Ferguson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddie Gettins during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Erling Haaland. In the 15th minute Jerome Sanderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Gates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Bates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pat Zamora came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Greenbay's Trev Jones. But to his dismay, Trev Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Greenbay's zone, Erling Haaland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Gates came out of the goal and Erling Haaland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Túri to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Samuil Saldzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Gates stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Bates's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Greenbay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deon Bye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Jack Gates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spike Bond. Greenbay's Jack Gates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Bates in the 42nd minute of play. Achraf Hakimi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
