The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Bierfass. Cristian Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wieslaw Zawacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cristian Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Zawacki in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Wieslaw Zawacki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Lorien was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sacro Balompié's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehmet Hamdi Yavuzay was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Mazur Ełk's players had a chance to rest. MKS Mazur Ełk's Mehmet Hamdi Yavuzay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Lorien in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cezary Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Houseman in the 24th minute of the match. René Houseman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cezary Sitko made a huge save. Ruud Krol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. Sacro Balompié:s Cristian Lorien showed great skill when he stopped Armando Dorigatti:s penalty. Mehmet Hamdi Yavuzay took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Lorien. Cristian Lorien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Sacro Balompié booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeru Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 38th minute, when Sacro Balompié's René Houseman after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Cezary Sitko in MKS Mazur Ełk's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Cristian Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Zawacki in the 41st minute of the match. After 41st play minutes Wieslaw Zawacki shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Cristian Lorien and just under the crossbar into goal. After 46 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Alex Göransson. Luis Suárez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Cezary Sitko made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that René Houseman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cezary Sitko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wieslaw Zawacki to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien got control of the ball when Armando Dorigatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Zawacki in the 56th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Cristian Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute René Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Sitko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. Zeru Mezquita hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. MKS Mazur Ełk's Garoa Ojesto was substituted for Juliusz Jerzyk. Sacro Balompié's Ingvar Nordal was substituted for Anselmo Lugo. Zeru Mezquita hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Iker Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezary Sitko skillfully saved the ball. Armando Dorigatti scored 0-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Lorien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, MKS Mazur Ełk's Armando Dorigatti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 76th minute, Ruben Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Dorigattis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Cristian Lorien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Miro in the 92nd minute of play.
