In the 46th minute, Cacá Britovskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

Li Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Teles in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Jaunius Balčaitis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Durval Messias. Jaunius Balčaitis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 88thth minute of the game Vecdet Baştürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Durval Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonic Ball's late challenge caught a Coritiba Foot Ball Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sonic Ball helped the player get up and apologised. Moose Knuckles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
