Aldonis Jaunrubenis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Åke Hallgren went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 麦鸿乐 in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Valdemar Alin got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Åke Hallgren to make the kick off.
