Cacá Britovskiy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Adam Adamski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernandez Montoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Durval Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfiro Caraduje in the 10th minute of play. Porfiro Caraduje hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Adam Adamski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Sociedad Anónima's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lobo Londrina who took care of the corner kick. Lobo Londrina made a great header on Coritiba Foot Ball Club's corner, it was just that Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski managed to reach the ball for a save. 23 minutes into the match, Fernandez Montoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Messias. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandez Montoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sociedad Anónima from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Garro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Adam Adamski made a huge save. In the 30th minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandez Montoto in the 33rd minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Durval Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurgain Idiaquez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Teles in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Porfiro Caraduje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Britovskiy got free with Adam Adamski in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Porfiro Caraduje stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sociedad Anónima! Lobo Londrina did an outstanding performance 58 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Adam Adamski in the goal. Caetano Guerreiro made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sociedad Anónima's Dinu Ghiciușca. Adam Adamski came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Cacá Britovskiy. But to his dismay, Cacá Britovskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Walmir Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Adamski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Teles in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Fernandez Montoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sociedad Anónima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coritiba Foot Ball Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Fernandez Montoto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Garro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Adam Adamski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Biaggio in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Cacá Britovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Durval Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandez Montoto. Adam Adamski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sociedad Anónima's Colas Carriles was substituted for Laurgain Idiaquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 94th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Adam Adamski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
