Spectators: 8463 (Terracing: 6348, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ataulfo Diosdado started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Anderson de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Casse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Catarinense in the 5th minute. Anderson de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Anderson de Brito. Hector Casse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Säfvahöjden's zone, Ronaldo Joinvilense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Casse came out of the goal and Ronaldo Joinvilense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandinho Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hector Casse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Säfvahöjden's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 29th minute of play. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 31st minute of play. Pan Yan Rong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Öfverman made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Laerte Caca-Rato. In the 36th minute of the match, Joel Catarinense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hector Casse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säfvahöjden the free kick. After 45 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Pinheiro. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Catarinense made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Pan Yan Rong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Chaves was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Joinvilense came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 67th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Casse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Säfvahöjden's Ubaldo Matildo Watkins was substituted for Pan Yan Rong. In the 73rd minute of the game Inocencio Eufrasio made a throw-in which Best Bro played forward. 75 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Ataulfo Diosdado came free, but Delfim Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Casse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Georg Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Matildo Watkins got free with Delfim Chaves in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Galo do Japi defense, Best Bro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Chaves. The Galo do Japi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Chaves should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Joinvilense scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Casse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Galo do Japi were victorious despite being under pressure from Säfvahöjden for much of the match.
