Júnior Vianna's late challenge caught a Nusnäs IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Júnior Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 16th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Róbson Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Bai Peng Ning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Róbson Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Bai Peng Ning came free, but Róbson Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Nusnäs IF got a corner. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Svenne Berka ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nusnäs IF's corner Bai Peng Ning fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Róbson Linares quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Leopoldo de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nusnäs IF the free kick. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leopoldo de Queiroz hit a great ball. Róbson Linares came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nusnäs IF's Bai Peng Ning. But to his dismay, Bai Peng Ning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th minute, Svenne Berka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Augusto Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merusca F&P - CIMZ's protests and gave Carlos Augusto Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nusnäs IF booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Abraão got free with Clodoveo Rojas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Abraão to make the kick off. When Fabiano Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Abraão couldn't finish the play. Fabiano Abraão struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Clodoveo Rojas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Róbson Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 59th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Abraão. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Şah Conkur was substituted for Luizinho Messias. In the 76th minute of the game Love Svensson made a throw-in which Bai Peng Ning played forward. A collision led to Nusnäs IF getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arne Lundberg hit a great ball. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Carlos Augusto Esteves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Róbson Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. The Nusnäs IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nusnäs IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
