Spectators: 8463 (Terracing: 6348, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldo Joinvilense took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Ronaldo Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Moraes. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Gang Feng in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Joinvilense didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West Staines Massive's goalie prevented a goal. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes West Staines Massive got a freekick which was hit by Jan Thomas. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kay Becker was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Ronaldo Joinvilense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldo Joinvilense really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandinho Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kay Becker. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Gang Feng in the 35th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Thomas in the 39th minute of play. Kay Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, West Staines Massive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Thomas to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

West Staines Massive made a substitution. Peter Lagerberg replaced Harry Arndt. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kong Gang Feng to make the kick off. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Joel Catarinense hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Kong Gang Feng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Chaves was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 61st minute of play forced West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Kay Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ronaldo Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kay Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Catarinense in the 82nd minute of play forced West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Kay Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Rossi. After a defensive mix-up in West Staines Massive's zone, Laerte Caca-Rato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kay Becker came out of the goal and Laerte Caca-Rato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galo do Japi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of West Staines Massive for a fine match.
