After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense got a free kick in the 4th minute. Gaston Osorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nibiru X's goalkeeper Gaston Osorio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Anderson de Brito. Ronaldo Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaston Osorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The corner led Galo do Japi's Laerte Caca-Rato to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaston Osorio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicodim Ipătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Delfim Chaves made a huge save. Gaston Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gaston Osorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Eber Almadel in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Corryn Veloz. 40 minutes into the game, Laerte Caca-Rato threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nibiru X's Fabio Mingione quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nicodim Ipătescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Chaves having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Ipătescu got free with Delfim Chaves in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicodim Ipătescu in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Chaves saved Galo do Japi from getting behind. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Ipătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicodim Ipătescu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Ipătescu in the 51st minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes Nibiru X got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Ipătescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 57th minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Gaston Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Osorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Catarinense in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Caca-Rato to maneuver through the defense. Nibiru X's Silverio Raitin was substituted for Raúlo Garriga. Laerte Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Ackerman in the 65th minute of play. Galo do Japi's Corryn Veloz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eber Almadel, made in the 70th minute of the game. Eber Almadel made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Fernandinho Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Raitin in the 79th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Osorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Catarinense in the 91st minute. Delfim Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Folch in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Raitin came free, but Delfim Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galo do Japi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
