Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcell Pécsi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Vencel Pápai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Zăhărescu. FC MeHigh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vencel Pápai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Florin Zăhărescu made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Vencel Pápai sent off a good shot on target. Miklós Bögi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Braru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vencel Pápai got free with Florin Zăhărescu in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcell Pécsi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Roland Warka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Bögi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, FC MeHigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bogdănescu to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Braru came free, but Miklós Bögi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nagyváradi AC's attentive Géza Cziráki managed to snatch the ball when Nichifor Geangu made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Miklós Bögi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Warka in the 28th minute of play. Florin Zăhărescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vencel Pápai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Roland Warka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Bögi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Vencel Pápai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nagyváradi AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Romeo Bogdănescu's late challenge caught a Nagyváradi AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Bogdănescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Romeo Bogdănescu hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Florin Zăhărescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vencel Pápai. 46 minutes into the game, Nae Manu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MeHigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagyváradi AC the free kick. FC MeHigh's Florin Zăhărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vencel Pápai in the 47th minute of play.
When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Roland Warka took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Miklós Bögi to make any attempt to save it. In the 54th match minute, FC MeHigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bogdănescu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vencel Pápai in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Zăhărescu saved FC MeHigh from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the match Nagyváradi AC got a corner. FC MeHigh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ábel Zarka ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ábel Zarka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florin Zăhărescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 63 minutes, Vencel Pápai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nagyváradi AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vencel Pápai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Warka in the 66th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Miklós Bögi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC MeHigh's zone, Vencel Pápai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Zăhărescu came out of the goal and Vencel Pápai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC MeHigh's Dragoş Caba was substituted for Cristian Vlaicu. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Laurențiu Buciuman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MeHigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Buciuman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklós Bögi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Dan Braru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Bögi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Roland Warka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagyváradi AC's Miklós Bögi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes, Marcell Pécsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyváradi AC and the FC MeHigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC MeHigh's Dumitru Suluțiu was substituted for Nichifor Geangu. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Romeo Bogdănescu with Virgil Crăiță as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vencel Pápai hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Ábel Zarka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC MeHigh's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nagyváradi AC had won, even though FC MeHigh had held more of the ball.
