Spectators: 9193 (Terracing: 6896, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nikola Krstović got the match started through his kick off. Fabio Millrick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Hebel having to make a save. Aykan Babür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Aykan Babür had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Krstović. In the 17th minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. Senator S.A.K's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Fujarczuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roman Fujarczuk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aykan Babür quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Senator S.A.K were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after AFK Petržalka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alim Eslem took the corner. Aykan Babür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Millrick in the 25th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Tim Hebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aykan Babür was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aykan Babür made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikola Krstović in the 32nd minute. If Alek Justus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Senator S.A.K getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Abuzer Sarıalp hit a great ball. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Fujarczuk in the 38th minute. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Senator S.A.K's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roman Fujarczuk took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Millrick to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Deng Xuan Sha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Millricks short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Tim Hebel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deng Xuan Sha to maneuver through the defense. Tim Hebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Millrick in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Senator S.A.K's zone, Nikola Krstović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykan Babür came out of the goal and Nikola Krstović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Senator S.A.K's Fabio Millrick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Krstović in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykan Babür prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cosme Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Txilar to maneuver through the defense. Alek Justus scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykan Babür, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Senator S.A.K's Aykan Babür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 76th minute of play. Nikola Krstović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Babür having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Perico Ferrer in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFK Petržalka's Cosme Txilar. Fırat Çakıroğlu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Hebel. Tim Hebel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 92nd match minute, Senator S.A.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perico Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFK Petržalka fans cheered their team off the field, for while Senator S.A.K had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
