Spectators: 9188 (Terracing: 6892, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chan Clet started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Chan Clet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radu Pânzaru hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bebeto Reynoso hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goalkeeper Florentino Guillen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristinel Nicodim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 14th minute of play forced MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goalkeeper Florentino Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Isărescu in the 15th minute of the match. Florentino Guillen made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Cristinel Nicodim sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BlueLionesse:s goal. Mihail Albu came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florentino Guillen could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Albu in the 33rd minute of play forced MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goalkeeper Florentino Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th play minute Cristinel Nicodim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florentino Guillen. 1-0. Florentino Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Isărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octavian Isărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Nicodim to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Albu. Marcelo Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ilie Crainic made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Chan Clet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Crainic having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Albu to maneuver through the defense. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Lucio Rayman was substituted for Antoni Augustyn. After 77 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Albu. Chan Clet hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Florentino Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Albu in the 86th minute of play. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
