Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Amorim started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Cruz got free with Eric Herzog in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Amorim in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Wesley Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÖK's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Herzog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Herzog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Amorim in the 12th minute of the match. Julius-Lasse Eichenauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Eric Herzog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Guedes. Eric Herzog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RÖK's Elivélton Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Michel Schulten fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Timisoara's protests and gave Michel Schulten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Michel Schulten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RÖK's Wesley Sena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Poli Timisoara. Eric Herzog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Ulrich Tschida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poli Timisoara and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ulrich Tschida hit a great ball. Dé Guedes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eric Herzog firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Cruz in the 40th minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Eric Herzog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Kannen scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Kannen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius-Lasse Eichenauer to strike the kick off in the second half. Wesley Sena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Herzog. Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eric Herzog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Amorim in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Joélson Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Herzog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Poli Timisoara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RÖK:s goal. In the 65th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes RÖK got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Sena. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Julius-Lasse Eichenauer got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eric Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Amorim in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 78th minute, when Poli Timisoara's Jan-Niclas Ebus after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Yan Pirani in RÖK's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Eric Herzog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jerônimo Schmidt made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Poli Timisoara's Julius-Lasse Eichenauer. Eric Herzog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RÖK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
