After 11 played minutes, Itacaruaré FC's Claudio Santio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Scannella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itacaruaré FC reached it. In the 12th minute Armando Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Diana in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. Itacaruaré FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniele De Meis ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mantzio in the 22nd minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Beppe Scannella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, Alberto Diana did a trick in the 70th minute in front of Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. In the 73rd minute of the match, Julian Claus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beppe Scannella saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mantzio in the 75th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Beppe Scannella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Itacaruaré FC's Beppe Scannella threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Mantzio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ismael Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Diana, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gabriel Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Scannella having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, Aristides Porfirio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Acilia Town's Beppe Scannella. Beppe Scannella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acilia Town fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itacaruaré FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
