Yan Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Sena in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Telmo Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Lucas Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Aírton Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Amorim struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Telmo Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RÖK. 17 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Amorim came free, but Telmo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Elivélton Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, Luís Fábio Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinheiros Capibaras FC and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Fábio Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiros Capibaras FC's zone, Dé Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Chaves came out of the goal and Dé Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Luís Fábio Massa got a free kick in the 38th minute. Luís Fabiano Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 minutes, Luís Fabiano Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinheiros Capibaras FC and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Dé Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÖK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Joélson Palmeira got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes RÖK got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Sena. Jerônimo Schmidt hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Rezende to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Lucas Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Edmundo Cearense got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dé Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÖK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Hélder Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Amorim in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the RÖK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
