Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Diana started the match with the kick off. Diego Rava kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Olavo Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armando Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Diana took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Chaves. Telmo Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Armando Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Telmo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Sena came free, but Beppe Scannella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Acilia Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico De Lorenzi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Pinheiros Capibaras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fabiano Sena was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fabiano Sena got free with Beppe Scannella in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Alberto Diana made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Chaves. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Diego Rava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Alberto Diana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Telmo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Acilia Town's Alberto Diana got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Diana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Armando Villa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Telmo Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acilia Town. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiros Capibaras FC's zone, Armando Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Chaves came out of the goal and Armando Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Acilia Town fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Acilia Town's Armando Villa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto Diana got in the 95th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Telmo Chaves handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Telmo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Diana in the 96th minute of play. Acilia Town walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
