Santiago Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Marcial Stephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Santiago Guillelmo made a huge save. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Melquiades Rosalio hit a great ball. Santiago Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Millano in the 12th minute of the match. Locura Académica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Constantino Peter 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Santiago Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Peter in the 19th minute of play. Santiago Guillelmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Stephen in the 24th minute. Gerardo Rufo's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Argider charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Argider the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Locura Académica got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Argider. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Argider in the 32nd minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Conrado Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Isidoro Brais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locura Académica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. In the 33rd minute, one of Locura Académica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Locura Académica. Santiago Guillelmo had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Eulalio Blanco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eulalio Blanco, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 39 played minutes Constantino Peter rounded Locura Académica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 42nd match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Stephen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Blanco got free with Santiago Guillelmo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Cuartio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Stephen came free, but Santiago Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Guillelmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Stephen went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Gerardo Rufo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Eron. Conrado Eron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Constantino Peter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Guillelmo having to make a save. Santiago Guillelmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Rosalio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
