Ruy Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ruy Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūras Putrimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artūras Putrimas in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Paulo Mendes made the kick off in the second half. Herkus Janavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Orestas Kontautas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 71 minutes, Orestas Kontautas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI and the Portuguesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Orestas Kontautas. Orestas Kontautas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruy Goiano firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orestas Kontautas got free with Ruy Goiano in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
