Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Capioviciño's Esteve Nastasio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Makis Karoubalis made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Robustiano Rafel sent off a good shot on target. When Esteve Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Capioviciño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Nastasio couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, Zacharias Papagiannoulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardo Laurgain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, Capioviciño's Robustiano Rafel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makis Karoubalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacharias Papagiannoulis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Laurgain saved Capioviciño from getting behind. Bernardo Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Ouzounidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Nastasio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Makis Karoubalis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Capioviciño's Robustiano Rafel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. A collision led to Vakoufi Utd getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Giannis Liolios hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Venerando got free with Makis Karoubalis in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 played minutes Vakoufi Utd got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Eleftherakis. Esteve Nastasio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Makis Karoubalis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Nastasio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Makis Karoubalis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Vakoufi Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Nastasio came free, but Makis Karoubalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Konstantinos Lykos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vakoufi Utd and the Capioviciño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vakoufi Utd's Konstantinos Lykos got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Babbis Thomaidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Rafel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Makis Karoubalis made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacharias Papagiannoulis to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Robustiano Rafel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makis Karoubalis. Vakoufi Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Rafel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Vakoufi Utd booed when Capioviciño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Capioviciño's Segundo Gaspard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Esteve Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capioviciño's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Nastasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makis Karoubalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Nastasio in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Makis Karoubalis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Dante Nalo. In the 75th minute, Konstantinos Lykos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardo Laurgain, passed just outside the right post. In the 76th minute, Capioviciño's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christos Ouzounidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Ouzounidis in the 79th minute of play forced Capioviciño's goalkeeper Bernardo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Makis Karoubalis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Capioviciño's Cecilio Pere nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makis Karoubalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Makis Karoubalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Rafel in the 95th minute of the match.
