Kostas Tzanetakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petras Tamašauskas in the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Ouzounidis came free, but Algirdas Gesaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FC Pegasas Siauliai were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Pegasas Siauliai eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
