The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Ramos got free with Domingos Urtzi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Los Guacho Pistola's Leonardo Orlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Haitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Los Guacho Pistola's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Rey came free, but Domingos Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Darien in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ciro Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. One of Los Guacho Pistola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DeportivoIndependienteMDP:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for DeportivoIndependienteMDP. Patricio Vito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Domingos Urtzi. 1-2. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Segundo Darien 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Danilo Ramos got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Domingos Urtzi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
