A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adolfo Bastiaro hit a great ball. Felipe Olando kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Benedicto Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Laurgain came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Aquilino Rey. But to his dismay, Aquilino Rey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Esteve Nastasio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Tomás Haitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Nastasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Benedicto Aballe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Tomás Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Nastasio in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Capioviciño's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Rey came free, but Bernardo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Esteve Nastasio scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Haitz, making the score, 1-1. Angelo Quinto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Tomás Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Nastasio in the 35th minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Capioviciño's Fabio Benitez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Haitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capioviciño reached it. If Robustiano Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomás Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Tomás Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Nastasio in the 44th minute of play. When Angelo Quinto fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DeportivoIndependienteMDP's protests and gave Angelo Quinto a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Quinto. After a rather tough play, Capioviciño's Cristobal Venerando got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Capioviciño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Esteve Nastasio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Haitz. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Nastasio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 70 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Rafel. If Danilo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Laurgain made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Danilo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Saul Kismi's late challenge caught a Capioviciño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Saul Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Segundo Gaspard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Haitz skillfully saved the ball. Tomás Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Rafel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Esteve Nastasio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Haitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cristobal Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the DeportivoIndependienteMDP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capioviciño.
