Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodosio Bermund got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mārtiņs Palermo in the 3rd minute of play forced Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Americo Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Stellenbosch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Uhin to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Mārtiņs Palermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Mārtiņs Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stellenbosch's Americo Gaitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a corner. Stellenbosch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Cordaryal ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wandy Narat to maneuver through the defense. If Antonio Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Teodosio Bermund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Martines was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Emiliano Martines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gaizko in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Stellenbosch booed when Cardo Ruso Cordobés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Martines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Martines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Oinatz's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 34 minutes, Emiliano Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardo Ruso Cordobés and the Stellenbosch players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cardo Ruso Cordobés getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emiliano Curcio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Antonio Pudes got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Gaizko came free, but Emiliano Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cardo Ruso Cordobés defense, Baldomiro Gaizko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Martines. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Martines should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mārtiņs Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Oinatz got free with Emiliano Martines in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Igon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Antonio Pudes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Emiliano Martines got control of the ball when Alberto Oinatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Teodosio Bermund scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Martines, making the score, 1-4. Emiliano Martines was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Maximo Uhin. 70 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Oinatz came free, but Emiliano Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Alberto Oinatz made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Martines. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After 86 minutes of play, Stellenbosch's Teodosio Bermund made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Martines was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Stellenbosch left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
