Feliu Viejo came out of the goal and Astor Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Simon Senon fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyito FC's protests and gave Simon Senon a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Valentín Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Natxo Valerón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Jago. Arroyito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natxo Valerón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Arroyito FC's Fabricio Gaspard got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Natxo Valerón, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ubaldo Jago was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Argider Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fesport FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arroyito FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fesport FC's Argider Lara got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Ambrosio Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliu Viejo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Gaspard during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fesport FC booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natxo Valerón in the 39th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fesport FC's Natxo Valerón quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Gaspard, made in the 41st minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Natxo Valerón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fesport FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natxo Valerón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Feliu Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Gaspard in the 52nd minute of play. Feliu Viejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ubaldo Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Juan Verdeja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fesport FC and the Arroyito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
