Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vladimiro Naldo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Everardo Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Casados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Agrelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Valdez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jeronimo Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Garrandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Abaurre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Mauricio Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jeronimo Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Garrandes in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Naldo in the 18th minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Xavies Casados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, chacarita1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Hondo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Benjamin Garrandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overal Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Garrandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimiro Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Valdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Abaurre having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Garrandes to strike the kick off in the second half. Everardo Hondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Xavies Casados made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, Overal Peru's Batista Mazariegos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Abaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 55 played minutes chacarita1969 got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Laurendi. In the 62nd minute, Adrian Laurendi made a precise shot to the right of Xavies Casados. Overal Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Teodoro Romelio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Benjamin Garrandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Overal Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Xavies Casados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Naldo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, chacarita1969's Vladimiro Naldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xavies Casados. Xavies Casados yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Naldo in the 83rd minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Xavies Casados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Valdez in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita1969's zone, Donato Agrelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abaurre came out of the goal and Donato Agrelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Bieito hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Benjamin Garrandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
