Wilmer Corpeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Benjamin Garrandes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Camilo Hinguanzo. Camilo Hinguanzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Overal Peru's Benjamin Garrandes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilmer Corpeño fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Kuskatan C.F.'s protests and gave Wilmer Corpeño a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Wilmer Corpeño got a free kick in the 28th minute. Reynaldo Valdez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavies Casados showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s David Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Raúl Díaz tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, David Cruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xavies Casados. David Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Garrandes to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Agrelo got free with Camilo Hinguanzo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Raúl Díaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Kuskatan C.F. and the Overal Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Overal Peru booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Díaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavies Casados having to interfere. Overal Peru's Xavies Casados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Cruz in the 74th minute of play. In the 84th minute Benjamin Garrandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilmer Corpeño kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Balasi Bustillos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Hinguanzo came out of the goal and Balasi Bustillos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Hinguanzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Agrelo in the 89th minute of the match. Josue Cera hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Díaz in the 91st minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Xavies Casados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Donato Agrelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overal Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Agrelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Overal Peru booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
