Xavies Casados was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xavies Casados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Veiga in the 14th minute of the match. Xavies Casados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Olavo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Casados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Overal Peru's Xavies Casados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão da Fonseca in the 38th minute of play. Xavies Casados dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
After a rather tough play, Overal Peru's Chayo Usarralde got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Renato Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrossel Caipira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overal Peru the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Carrossel Caipira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Garrandes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Carrossel Caipira's Paulão Veiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xavies Casados. Xavies Casados yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 64 played minutes Overal Peru got a freekick which was hit by Chayo Usarralde. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edu Bertassi during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Edu Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olívio Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Garrandes in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Paiva in the 71st minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Xavies Casados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Agrelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Overal Peru getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jatsu Cobreros hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Arnaldo Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Schmidt during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carrossel Caipira's Luizão Schmidt got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Paulão Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overal Peru's Xavies Casados was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Overal Peru's Nisio Herreras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nisio Herreras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Overal Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nisio Herreras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Overal Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Arnaldo Abreu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Xavies Casados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Paiva in the 100th minute of the match. Carrossel Caipira's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
