Aaron Muno scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Aaron Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Baldomiro Ariando hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Melquiades Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
